Nigerian Film, ‘Nigerianah’ Begins Audition

Nigerian filmmakers, Samson Alli and Tukura John Daniel known as Tee Jay Dan have started the audition for their next film project, “Nigerianah”.

Written by Tee Jay Dan, the movie will be directed by Samson Alli with Tee Jay Dan and Samson Alli as producers of the project.

Shoot for the political thriller is scheduled to kick off in January but the producers have revealed that search for the right cast that started earlier in the month will continue until the right fit for each role is found.

The director, Samson Alli directed and produced his short film, “Goldfish” in 2015 and is ready to take on the new “Nigerianah” project because of its uniqueness and the potential it holds.

“Nigerianah” follows youths who are disgruntled about the state of things in the country. A young man on the street, organizing street resistance to take on powerful people, a filmmaker struggling to make a socially conscious movie, and a novelist in the UK struggling to make sales all come together to take a stand in this forthcoming project by Alli and Tukura.
