Four Egyptian films will be part of 16 films pitching for development funds at the 4th edition of the Malmo Market Forum, a part of the Malmo Arab Film Festival (MAFF) starting on October 5.
While the Malmo Arab Film Festival will start on October 5 and round off on October 9, the Malmo market forum will start on October 6 and be concluded on October 8.
The four Egyptian movies that will be pitching for development funds at the film forum are: “Blood and Honey” by Mohamed Siam and Christer Nelson, “Everyday at 6am” by Yasser Shafiey and William Johansson, “Omar Sherif” by Mark Lotfy and Sigrid Helleday, and “When We’re Born” by Tamer Ezzat Ezzat.
At the Malmo Market Forum, the filmmakers will pitch their films to producers with the aim of securing the necessary funds.
