Jurors at the 27th jury session of the World Cinema Fund (WCF) recommended contributing to the funding of ten film projects including ‘You Will Die At 20’, a film directed by Sudanese, Amjad Abu Alala.

The funding which will amount to 49, 000 euros comes as part of the WCF’s Berlinale WCF Africa, an initiative launched in 2016 to fund projects from sub-Saharan Africa.

For the WCF Africa, Jahman Oladejo Anikulapo from Nigeria and Dorothee Wenner from Germany are two additional jurors that joined jury members, Viola Shafik, Martha Andreu, Jan De Clercq, and the WCF project manager, Vincenzo Bugno for this year’s session.
