“The Wedding Party 2” Movie Trailer and Release Date

Remember Ebony Life Film’s “Wedding party”- directed by Kemi Adetiba, was said to have held a record as the biggest opening week in history of Nollywood having grossed over 120million naira in 12 days.  No sooner had the audience savoured the comic romance, than preparations began for a new sequel “The wedding Party 2”.


Numerous movie lovers had since then waited for the release of the new sequel which had its destination in Dubai.



Ebony Life Film in partnership with Film One Production, Inkblot productions, Koga Studios and Elfike Film Collective, have released the much awaited Sequel movie teaser, “The wedding Party 2”.

“Fans now have a taste of the awesome movie that’s coming. It has been a labour of love and we look forward to the release in December,” – Mo Abudu, CEO, Ebony Life Films.

“This is going to be the biggest release of 2017, opening on multiple screens in every cinema in Nigeria. We are working hard to ensure that everyone who wants to see the movie will be able to get a ticket.” – Moses Babatope, COO, FilmOne Distribution.


Judging from the teasers, there is sure to be a twist to Wedding Party 2 and this time, all casts are returning to your screen for the wedding celebration of Nonso Onwuka(Eyinna Nwingwe) and Deadre Winston (Daniela Down).  New features that appear in the teaser are Veteran actress-Patience Ozokwor, Veteran actor- Chiwetalu Agu, chi -gurl, Seyi-law and many others.


“The Wedding party 2” sets to experience its first Premiere in Nigeria on the 10th of December, 2017 and will be released to the cinema on the 15th of December, 2017.


The wait has been a very impatient one indeed, everyone is pretty excited about the release and fans can’t wait to be guests at another Ebony Life’s Wedding party.
