Abraham Attah hits lead role in new 5 million dollar movie

Abraham Nii Attah is without doubt one of the fastest rising child actors in Africa. Being of Ghanaian descent and having made his debut into the movie industry with a laudable supporting role in the movie “Beasts of No Nations”, one can say he is a name to look out for.

This young promising actor scores yet another applaudable role as lead character in new movie budgeted at 5 million dollar “Ade’s journey”.

Ade’s journey is written by renowned scriptwriter and producer, Brendan Foley and it is based on true events. It tells the story of a young West African boy who takes a perilous 6000 mile walk from Africa to Europe along the migrant route in search of soccer stardom at a top Premiership football club. The movie sets to reveal immigration and human trafficking in the football circle.

Written by Brendan Foley, to be directed by Obi Emelonye and produced by Bob Mahoney, Screen Nation pictures and the Nollywood Factory, the movie has gained worldwide support from FIFA, the Premier league, UNICEF and many other organisations who are bent on curbing such football migration related issues and child trafficking in the general sense of it.

To put a finishing touch on the nitty-gritty of this much appraised movie are prominent acts like Hakeem Kae-Kazim of Hotel Rwanda, Isaac de Bankole of Casino Royale and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje of Suicide Squad.

This is definitely another big shot for the young actor who has gained international recognition and bagged himself the Marcello Mastroianni’s Best Young Actor Award at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival from his role as ‘Agu’ in the movie, Beasts of No Nations.

With such a brilliant script in hand, such fantastic actors in front of the camera and a 5million dollar budget, expectations definitely get high…
